Faces Makeup and Hair is a COVID Safe business registered with the NSW Government.

We have updated our COVID-19 Safety Plan which will be effective from 11 October 2021 to keep you, other customers and our staff protected.

Vaccination requirement

This is the most significant change that we have made to our COVID-19 Safety Plan.

• all staff must be double vaccinated prior to attending appointments; and
• all clients must email us satisfactory evidence of double vaccination (either a COVID-19 digital certificate or immunisation history statement) prior to the appointment taking place.

If our staff need to attend your premises to provide services, please ensure that everyone present in that premises can provide either evidence of double vaccination or medical exemption.   

All of our staff will be double vaccinated with Pfizer Comirnaty on or before 12 October 2021.

Contact tracing

All bookings must be made in advance. Your details will be collected at the time of your booking for contact tracing. If you attend one of our stylist's studios, please sign in with the QR code provided at the studio.

Hygiene and cleaning

We will continue with our stringent hygiene practices.  Some of the steps we are taking include:

• masks will be worn by our stylists at all time while providing service;
• hard surfaces in our studios will be regularly wiped down and sanitised;
• all makeup brushes and sponges will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between clients;
• all hair tools will be sanitised between clients;
• our stylists will regularly wash or sanitise hands; and
• all payments will need to be received by electronic fund transfer in advance (strictly no cash payments).

Wellbeing of staff and customers, social distancing

Our staff will be asked to stay home if they show any symptoms of respiratory illness.  In this case, we will either re-allocate other members of the team or (where possible) reschedule your appointment.

You must call to reschedule your appointment if you or any member of your household shows any symptoms of respiratory infection or COVID-19, including fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose, loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath or a rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes.

Specifically for in-studio services:

• please do not bring any additional guests to our studios;
• you will be required to use hand sanitiser (provided) upon entry; and
• you may be asked to wear shoe covers or remove your shoes before entering our studios (depending on flooring).

For on-site services:

• there must be reasonable ventilation (windows and doors opened where possible);
• there must be at least 4 sqm per person;
• there must be at least 1.5m radius around our work station; and
• any person showing any symptoms of respiratory infection must not be present on-site.

Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated, as it will ensure the wellbeing of our staff and other customers.  In exceptional cases, our stylists may limit the service they will provide or leave your premises if they reasonably believe that you do not comply with our safety guidelines above to provide them with a safe work environment.

We will be monitoring the latest development closely and update our COVID-19 Safety Plan where necessary.  Thank you very much for your continuing support at this challenging time!
