A huge WELCOME to Joanna - we are very proud to have such a talented and creative stylist joining the Faces Makeup and Hair team.

Joanna finished her first professional makeup certification in Johnny Andrean School & Training in 2011 (Jakarta, Indonesia), followed by obtaining a Diploma in Makeup Services in The Mask Academy in 2015 (Sydney, Australia). Since then, she settled down in Sydney and began developing her makeup artist and hair stylist career in bridal, fashion, editorial and special effects (SFX). Joanna also has a Bachelor degree in Arts (Design and Cinematography), through which she was involved in the theatre community for a period of time. The experience has shaped her creativity and ability to work beyond the wedding industry. Fresh and natural makeup that enhances your natural beauty is her signature style, but feel free to throw your ideas at her - from glamour to cat eye to face painting and Halloween makeup - she will nail them all.

Besides constantly updating both her makeup and hair styling skills by learning from the most reputable local and international artists, she also expanded her skill set into brow and lash services through a national accredited certificate from Australian Academy of Beauty and Dermal Therapy.

Joanna first came to us in 2015 as a Diploma student completing the work experience component.  She assisted the team for some time and proved to be a great asset to the team! We are very honoured to have this talent joining the family.

We bring our bridal makeup and hair styling services to you not only in Sydney, but also in other regions, including the Central Coast, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands and Wollongong.
